From Logo to Brand Identity
For years, we collaborated on visual communication for a range of projects like Coronalert, Open Poen, AccountabilityHack, Digging for Data, Poliscoops, Ubbo Mapper, and Open Publiceren. Each project had its own look and feel, completely separate from Open State’s core identity.
After all these standalone styles, the question arose: how can we position the Open State Foundation brand itself more clearly and consistently?
Clear Style, Broad Application
We restyled the existing logo and created a full logo package, ready for use across all formats—from print to digital platforms. We also brought structure to the visual identity: color use, typography, and graphic elements now form a consistent whole. On top of that, we designed a new website, with technical development handled in-house by Open State.
Design for Progress
The result: a brand that holds its own. Open, professional, and accessible—just like Open State at its core. A visual identity that gives space to substance and builds trust with the public and partners alike.
