But where we truly excel is in bridging the gap between strategy and design. That moment when ideas, core values, and ambitions are translated into a fitting and compelling visual language.
Many studios focus either on strategy or on design. We operate right in between. We help organizations not only define their story but make it visible — in a style that fits who they are and where they’re headed.
A strong brand identity doesn’t just work functionally. It speaks to people on an emotional level — and that’s what creates real connection.
When we thought about our name, we kept coming back to the one thing that sets us apart: Vormstrategie. The bridge between thinking and making. Between identity and expression.
The word Vormstrategie didn’t exist yet, so we decided to introduce it ourselves. Even Wikipedia had to adjust. After some back and forth, it now reads:
“Vormstrategie is a discipline within graphic design focused on discovering, preserving, and managing a brand’s visual language — with the goal of strengthening its identity.”
Other designers are now using the term too, and honestly, we love that. Apparently, there was a need for a name for this part of the craft.
To us, Vormstrategie isn’t a separate phase — it’s the red thread running through our entire approach. It helps us build brands that feel right, inside and out.
